For example, Joe Bert's Car Wash could use the Mintel research for obtaining the number of car owners living in the Bellchester. Suppose that the every fifth person living in the area own a car. This will make the total potential customers numbering 70,000 and total monthly estimated monthly demand for cash wash at 140,000. Suppose that 80% of this population prefer manual wash and did not want to visit the city for the purpose of car wash, the total demand that the organization could satisfy is 112,000 car washes for month.
