Creativity and innovativeness could be better flourish when the organization uses the groups and team based structure as using the traditional functional and divisional structure could not guarantee creativity and innovativeness which is associated with brining uniformity and control.
Sound leadership associated with creativity and innovativeness usually encourage motivation and rather than working on implementing strict control and evaluation. This in turn creates an atmosphere of trust across the organization where members of the organization took personal interest in accomplishing the organization's long-term goals and objectives and due to personal interest, commitment and motivation the goal accomplishment process of the organization is facilitated. In addition, the planning process that innovative leadership uses could best be described as bottom up approach where members of the organization working on lower level of the firm are encouraged to propose what they wishes to accomplish and then efforts are made to combined such individuals goals and objectives into a whole (Robbins & Judge, 2004). However, communication is the key, and the process could be only facilitated when there are sound communication channels across the organization that will ensure the commitment of different individuals and groups.
